The rooms are neat and clean, and good enough for sleeping. The price is good too. I’m still unsure what sharia means here: as far as I can tell, they simply don’t let unmarried couples stay. The lobby and other shared areas could use more tidying, and I hope the service improves.

It’s the cheapest homestay around, which is a real plus. Finding the place can be tricky, though, and the cleanliness is only average. It could be better.

There’s no parking for vehicles, so taking the train is probably the best choice. Pondok Jati train station is nearby, and the room was clean with a decent bathroom.
