My Japanese friend got an important item back safely, thanks to Mr. Iyan. The staff were very kind, and I felt the hotel gave excellent service. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

The location was terrible and hard to access because of roadworks. The area felt poor and dirty, and the hallway looked badly maintained, so I suspect the rooms may have been in similar condition. I paid the price listed on Agoda, but at check-in, after filling out the paperwork, they told me there was a minimum spend and asked for extra money. That requirement wasn't shown on Agoda. When I pointed it out, they said Agoda had changed the listing, which wasn't true. The person claiming to be the manager told me to go elsewhere if I didn't accept their terms. Since I'd already paid Agoda and last-minute cancellations aren't refundable, that suited them. I chose to stay elsewhere. When I later complained to Agoda, the property claimed I had checked in and spent the night, apparently to avoid giving me a refund.

Getting there was difficult, and there wasn't anything nearby to see. The room had no outside windows, the water smelled awful, and the shower was cold. There was a burn hole in the bed cover, and the AC barely worked. I had to sleep in my underwear without blankets. I've stayed in much cheaper places that were way better. I feel ripped off.
