The apartment is roomy, generally clean, and has useful things like a washing machine, a proper kitchen, a smart TV, and a comfortable bed. Staff are good, especially the security team, who were friendly and kept my food deliveries and belongings safe. Getting around on foot is the hard part. Office buildings and malls are nearby, but the narrow lanes and limited pedestrian access can feel unsafe. I found ride-hailing, especially Gojek, much easier. A good fit for a longer stay in central Jakarta if you're mostly using cars.

The security staff were great, and being close to Mega Kuningang was convenient. The building itself has good facilities, including a gym and swimming pool. But the rooms barely got cleaned during my five months there. Dust stayed on surfaces other than the floor, and I often received towels and sheets with stains or holes. They also lost track of my deposit and payments. Keep your receipts, since they may ask for proof much later, even for amounts paid at reception. This happened with both monthly payments and deposits. There wasn't a single glass or knife in the kitchen. When I asked to borrow something just to eat a meal, they said they couldn't lend a fork. For the room price, that felt absurd, and it made the place poor value for a long stay. Electricity wasn't included, which was fine, but when the top-up was running low, an alarm went off at any hour, including at night. I stayed because of work nearby. The location is good, and the facilities could have made this a great place if the rooms were cleaned. These problems seem fixable, so I hope they improve for future guests, or adjust the price to match the service.

The staff were friendly and tried to help, but I got conflicting answers about basic things throughout my stay. One person said a card deposit could only be refunded if I had an Indonesian bank account, so I had to withdraw cash before check-in. A different staff member then told me card payment was preferable and the refund would arrive within 14 working days. I really didn't appreciate the confusion. Kitchen items, plates, and cups are available for daily rentals, but apparently not monthly ones. Someone said I could borrow appliances by calling reception; someone else said they weren't provided because my booking was through COVE and counted as a rental. I was staying for one month, so buying everything only to throw it away at checkout made no sense. I asked the property and COVE for some flexibility, but they couldn't help because it was under management. If I'd known the appliances weren't provided, I wouldn't have booked for a month. For what I'm paying as a short-term traveller, they should give consistent information and offer another option, even if it costs extra. The room was livable and mostly in good condition, though it could have been cleaned better. There was dirt on the floor and marks on the wall. The staff were genuinely friendly, but the property and COVE need to get their information straight.

The walls are thin enough that I could hear the elevator, people walking, and doors opening and closing at night. I also noticed a sticky brown substance on the floor, so the room wasn't very clean. Around the hotel, I wouldn't recommend walking at night, especially for a woman alone.

The gym was very good, and for the price the stay was decent apart from breakfast. There was lots of fried food and no eggs, so we ended up having toast with butter and Coco Crunch every day. The breakfast wasn't great for westerners. The room was spacious and nice, though the bathroom faucet was leaking. Service was okay. They took a towel one day and forgot to replace it, which seemed like an honest mistake. The guy at breakfast wasn't very nice. Most staff didn't speak much English, but that felt normal in Jakarta.
