Breakfast was a letdown. For a hotel that says it’s 5 stars, it felt more like 3, on par with Santika or Quest. The food was bland and there wasn’t much variety. There wasn’t any ready-to-eat Nasi or Mie Goreng either, you had to wait and order those from the live cooking station. The Wi-Fi was painfully slow. My old Smartfren 3G modem at home was faster than this “hotel Wi-Fi.” I was also disappointed by the toilet cover, which didn’t have a soft-close feature. Even many 3-star hotels provide that basic comfort. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The AC and Smart TV worked flawlessly. There’s a gym on the 3rd floor, tucked away in an odd spot, but once I found it the equipment was decent. It had a Multi Press, Lat Pulldown, Dumbbells, Treadmills, and more, enough for most workout needs. For an Indonesian hotel calling itself “5-star,” I found the overall experience unacceptable.

The airport transfer was offered to us free of charge, and some places to eat are within walking distance. The hotel is very close to the airport. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. I’d stay there again.

I usually like staying at BW Hotel for business, but breakfast this time was a poor experience. The tables weren’t set properly, and dirty spoons and forks had been left on them. My cappuccino never arrived until I complained, and then they brought an americano instead and just said sorry. We hadn’t finished eating when the food was taken away without asking. I hope you take a proper look at the hotel and improve the service. Thanks.

The hotel was lovely overall, and our room was clean and smelled good. But when we arrived at midnight and parked the car, we couldn’t get into the lobby through taman kerinci. We asked the ground staff inside to open the door, but he told us to go around to the front entrance to reach the lobby elevator. If guests arrive in the middle of the night, please help by opening the door by taman kerinci, since it’s close to the parking lot. Thank you.
