The cleaning staff member I met was very friendly, but there was just one guy cleaning while a small hotel had three or four receptionists. They need more cleaning staff and fewer receptionists. The windows, tile grout, sink, mirror, and bed furniture all need cleaning. Maybe they could have one receptionist who speaks English.

The room felt pretty plain, though the service was good. I was disappointed that the menu price in the room didn't match the price at reception. They need to improve things here.

The room is roomy and the price is affordable. I enjoyed the free jacuzzi and sauna. They only have single beds, with no twin bed or extra bed option.

Rats were moving around in the ceiling above my room, so getting a decent night's sleep was hard. Smoke also came in through the gap under the door. The air conditioner was leaking, but they fixed it right away, credit for that. You get what you pay for, I guess. I won't be back.

I stayed one night at Octo htl Jambi and was impressed. The room was cozy and clean, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. Thanks for all the hospitality, bravo Octo hotel Jambi.
