Urbanview by Pesona Guest House in Jambi gives you a lot of room for the price. It has two bedrooms, plus a living room and dining area, so it feels more like a small home than a hotel room. Everything was clean, simple, and comfortable, and the layout would suit a family or group on either a short or longer stay. A good value option if you want space and convenience without spending much.

A canopy over the terrace would make it nicer to sit outside and keep the area safer in heavy rain. It doesn’t need to reach the boundary wall. Adding one over the parking area would be even better.

Getting to the room in heavy rain is difficult. A roof along the access path would help keep off both the rain and the daytime heat. Several charging points didn’t work, and the power went out five times, which was frustrating even though there was a generator.

We went as a family during Chinese New Year and had fun. The place is big, with the feel of a boarding house but also a bit of a hotel.
