I slept incredibly well in the spacious, spotless suite, with carved wood details and an open-air bathroom that had a rain shower. The staff were warm and helpful, and even set up a sunrise trek for me. From the balcony, the rice fields run down the valley toward misty mountains. I loved waking to birdsong, sipping kopi luwak, and watching farmers work in the golden light. Adhi Jaya Suite is tucked among Jatiluwih’s terraces, quiet and calming. I’m already thinking about coming back.

The view was great, but there was mold in both of the rooms we booked. It affected our breathing, so we had to leave.

The balcony and rooftop are the best spots here, with views over the terraces, volcano hills, and lowlands. Inside, the room was bright, roomy, and clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The ensuite had a hot shower and a separate toilet area. Getting into the guesthouse is the one small drawback. The entrance is narrow and a little hard to spot. Otherwise, I’d recommend it. It’s right by the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces.

You can start a walk through the terraces just a few steps from the guest house, with routes from 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on your time and interest. The place itself is well located for those views, and the rooms were clean and kept in good shape. Good value for money.

The staff were so kind, and it was easy to find lunch or dinner nearby. I had a really nice stay, with a comfortable room, fresh air, and lovely views of the rice fields and mountains. It felt like a good deal for the price.
