The Peak Guest House Syariah by Oyo Rooms

Not a good place to spend a day or night. It feels fake.

The room itself was quiet, and I was the only guest in the house, but at night I heard what sounded like footsteps and children going up and down the stairs outside my room when nobody was there. It felt as if I was being made a scapegoat. Honestly, this place would suit someone looking to test their courage better than someone looking for somewhere to stay. I wouldn't recommend booking here. The owner was old and not tech-savvy, and said he couldn't use a computer. He didn't understand Traveloka, and his computer was broken. Even after Ganisa showed him the transfer receipt, he insisted on charging again at check-in. He was stubborn about it. The front building was supposedly being renovated. When he refused to pay the full amount, he opened a room in the back house, but the door would be locked from the outside. It didn't make sense.

They claim the hotel has the most rooms in Jember and great facilities, but when I was there, it was deserted. Chuaakss. The management is a mess, and the owner lies a lot. The prices keep changing, and it's expensive for a place with barely any amenities. The facilities feel like one-star quality. Most people who stay here don't come back. I swear, it's not worth it, LOL.
