The staff were so welcoming, and the owner even got involved directly. Really warm hospitality, and definitely the best cottage. I’ll be back on my next holiday. Thank you!

The reception lady was so friendly and looked after me, sharing local tips, making breakfast, and doing my laundry. I really appreciated it. The room was spacious, and the middle-of-the-island location was both quiet and convenient. The internet stayed pretty stable while I worked, though there were a few power cuts during the week, and even mobile service was down, so be prepared. You can rent a bicycle from the owner. Head east for restaurants and party spots, or take the cute shortcut west to catch a sunset or visit beach bars.

Ms Era’s smile might be the best on Gili T. She looked after everything, from reception and food and drink to housekeeping and guest relations. The owner also sent us a message right after we booked with advice about arriving on the island, which we really appreciated. Between that and Ms Era’s care, we felt at home. There wasn’t a single mosquito around the property or in our room, despite being on a small island, and the shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. We had a wonderful stay. Personally, I’d have preferred a slightly firmer bed. After that, I can’t recommend the place highly enough.

Mandalika Cottage is a real find. The rooms are clean, there are no mosquitoes, and there’s a lovely little garden that’s being looked after. It’s in a good spot, and there’s a new road now too. The staff are the best, very friendly and always willing to help. They can arrange an amazing tour, and you can rent a bicycle. I’ve been to Gili Trawangan four times and always choose Mandalika. I know the owners, Zakia and Gaspar, and they’re wonderful people who are always ready to help as well. Wishing you prosperity, and I hope to see you again!
