Java Village Resort

The natural setting was a big part of what I liked about Java Village Resort. Rice fields and greenery surround it, and being out on the edge of Yogyakarta made it feel calm and removed from the city bustle. My room was roomy and well cared for, with wooden furniture and batik touches. I slept comfortably, and the balcony looked out over the surrounding landscape. It also had the basics I needed, including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a clean private bathroom. The resort's Javanese architecture gives it a strong local feel while still having modern comforts. I visited recently and came away impressed by how comfortable and culturally distinctive the place was. I'd recommend Java Village Resort to people visiting Yogyakarta.

Breakfast was a real highlight for my family and me. There were live cooking stations, an Indomie corner, ice cream, Indonesian dishes, pastries and bakery items, plus kids' favorites like Coco Crunch and cereals. Everything looked thoughtfully laid out, tasted fresh, and had plenty of flavor. We also really appreciated how peaceful the countryside setting was. It gave us room to relax and reconnect. The team made the stay special from the warm welcome onward. Front Office made check-in easy, Housekeeping kept the room comfortable and in good order, and F&B Service were professional, kind, and ready to help during meals. I'm grateful for those family memories at Java Village Resort by HOMEE Yogyakarta. Thank you to the whole team and Management for the care throughout our stay. A month away from home on a business trip could have been tough, but the staff made my extended stay comfortable and easy. Housekeeping, the front desk, and the restaurant team were all courteous, helpful, and welcoming every time. The manager also deserves a mention for being professional and hands-on. I liked the calm natural setting at this hotel in Sleman, Yogyakarta, around 8-10 km from the city center. There's a rice field nearby and a clean river right behind the property, so it feels like a quiet break from the busy center. The rooms are especially spacious, with big windows that bring in lots of sunlight and balconies overlooking the rice field. The facilities are standard, and the water heater worked well. One small annoyance was the bathroom drainage: the floor dips near the bathroom door, so water collects there. Still, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the quiet and scenery.
