Arys lagoon bungalow & hotel

The beach is clean, the sea is warm, and the setting is beautiful. It's a shame the rest was such a missed opportunity. Wi-Fi barely connects, and when it does, it's painfully slow. Our room wasn't very clean, either. The bathroom design is a bad trend, it makes it almost impossible to keep water from spilling onto the toilet. The shower was broken, pressure was awful, and the temperature swung between cold but manageable and boiling hot. It could be an okay place for a holiday, but not if you plan to spend much time here.

What makes the place stand out for me is the location. After travelling around the world, it's among my ten favorite places to visit. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and I was lucky to see how Muhammad irvan salam handled operations from evening until dawn. He was respectful, courteous, attentive, and focused throughout, much like the way I train my own staff. The rooms have air conditioning, running water, a toilet, and they're quiet. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Go for a bungalow if you can, the view is the best. It's right by the beach, where you can play along the shore. The place is remote, but a very satisfying stay and the best option in the area.

A lovely little spot by the beach on beautiful Karimun Jawa Island. I couldn't give it five stars because the breakfast was limited and slow, the showers had very low water pressure, and the Wi-Fi connection was poor.
