I’ve stayed here twice. The location in town is good, the staff are helpful, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. On my first visit, breakfast was included and spot on: my wife and I each had tasty fried rice and kwetiau, plus a glass of fruit juice each, with different fruits, along with tea and coffee. There are a couple of drawbacks. Parking is small and crowded, even for a motorbike, and Saturday night can be noisy because live music goes on until 10 p.m. Hot water also isn’t guaranteed. During the busy Lebaran season, I paid for a room with a hot water shower but was given one without it. If I come back, I’d choose the room without hot water for two-thirds of the price. If convenient parking or hot water matters to you, this may not be the place; otherwise, it’s fine.

The staff are friendly, and the location is handy for trying Jepara’s food and enjoying the city atmosphere. The place is comfortable, with clean rooms and surroundings. My only suggestions: replace the flattened pillow, improve the TV antenna signal, and add a café area where guests can relax in the lobby. Otherwise, it’s nice and I’d recommend it again.

The staff were kind and helpful. I had to check out at 5 a.m., and one of them arranged an early breakfast for me. The room was 250k a night, including breakfast, and had a private bathroom, AC, TV, and toiletries, though I did get a lower price through an online provider. There are two breakfast choices: traditional, either fried rice or noodles, or western, with bread, egg, and fruit. I’d recommend this hotel in Jepara.

They’ve raised the price too much. I used to pay 250 for a superior room, but now it’s 300 without breakfast. And the breakfast is terrible: the noodles or nasi goreng are cold and tasteless, and the juice isn’t cold either. The trash bin is broken, and the numbers on the AC remote can’t be seen.

It’s a decent place for a night or two. You can tell it’s seen better days, but it’s kept up and still works fine.
