I liked it enough to extend my stay and move into a room with its own kitchen. Balangan beach is a 3-minute ride or a 10 min walk away. Neta and her family are lovely, and they keep everything clean and well maintained. They're building a pool too, which I'm looking forward to 😊

The beach is close, but most of the way there runs through the forest. The road is still rocky and badly damaged in many places, apparently because the access road for local residents and villages is being built.
