Bali Breezz Hotel

The hotel has potential, especially with such helpful, friendly staff who responded whenever I needed assistance. Still, some parts need repairs and better upkeep. The room toilet failed to flush properly several times, and the pool water seemed to need more frequent cleaning for guests’ comfort. I hope they can improve these things.

The pool and trees outside make for a nice, relaxing view, and the hotel seems to attract guests for that. We were fine with it because we only used our room for sleeping, but it would be uncomfortable to spend much time there. It’s very, very small, with no chair and hardly any room to move. The room was tidy and clean, though. Water pressure in the shower was so low it came out in little drops, making a shower take a long time. They provide shampoo and shower gel, and the customer service was good. There’s an in-house massage service, but you have to book at least an hour ahead. This works for a short stay if you’ll be out most of the day. There are lots of street seafood places nearby too.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a restaurant on site. For a budget hotel, this was very good value. My room was large, with a kitchenette, a big fridge, and a microwave. The bathroom was huge as well, and the beds were very comfortable. There are three outdoor pools with sunbeds and sun shades.

We had no hot water for the first two days, despite being told that the hotel was full and the supply would return after reheating. That explanation was hard to accept. When a staff member came to check, he ran the tap, held his hand under the water for several minutes, then called it “warm,” though it was barely lukewarm. At the front desk, the person we spoke with seemed unhappy and dismissive. He quickly said there were no spare rooms, even though we could see empty rooms around the property. The room was not properly cleaned before we arrived. The white sheets had visible stains and hairs from previous guests, which was unhygienic and uncomfortable. The bathroom was grimy and below an acceptable cleaning standard, the tap didn’t work properly, and a strong damp smell lingered throughout our stay. We were very disappointed by the cleanliness, lack of basic amenities, and poor service, and based on our experience, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
