The room was small, but I was really happy with it. It was much cleaner than I expected from the outside, and even smelled nice. Getting there was the frustrating part. The drop-off spot wasn’t clear, and nobody showed us where to leave our big suitcases or helped us carry them up the stairs. I noticed security sitting in their booth, but they didn’t greet or guide us, and the hotel staff didn’t offer a hand when they saw us come in. After we got the key card, there still wasn’t a sign or anyone to point us toward the lift. The service for arriving guests could be a lot better.

The room was cozy even though it wasn’t very big. I booked a queen bed. The bathroom was clean, but the sink felt too small, and the only toiletries were a liquid 3-in-1 shampoo, soap, and lotion. I ordered room service and liked the satay, with the menu prices being very affordable. Breakfast had a lot of variety for a small hotel. The lobby looked tidy at first, and the staff were really helpful. Since the hotel had only opened around mid-2016, I’d give it 4 out of 5.

The staff were excellent, and that’s probably the reason I’d consider coming back for a weekend getaway. But if you’re booking to get some rest, be warned: the rooms aren’t soundproof as advertised. It was really noisy, especially in an interconnecting room or when the neighboring rooms were occupied. I’m not sure what other facilities they actually have, so maybe call and check before booking. I had a twin room, which was spacious enough, though not as clean as I expected. There was dust in several visible spots, mostly between the beds, and the shower heads in both rooms I saw needed maintenance. Amenities were very minimal. We tried a few dishes: some were really bad and some were alright. They were pretty cheap, though. All in all, it was okay.
