The location is quiet, and having your own transport or access to gojek is ideal. We used gojek a lot for food deliveries. We had the 3 bedroom private pool setup: living, dining, and kitchenette downstairs, two ensuite bedrooms on the second level, and a rooftop patio above. It’s a good base for exploring the bukit, including ulu watu, balangan, melasti, and Nusa dua, and it’s still close to the airport. Jimbaran has a more chilled vibe than Kuta through to seminyak. We’d read the reviews beforehand and had a fair idea of what to expect. Cove Prana suited our needs and felt like good value for the space and location. As others have said, you get what you pay for. Speaking some Indonesian helped, and staff were quick to fix the issues we raised. Breakfast was included, but plain and packaged offsite. If you’re fussy about breakfast, you might want to self-cater.

The rooms were nice and the price was reasonable, though I had a mixed stay. Towels weren’t replaced regularly, so the hygiene could use some attention. I still had quite a good experience, and with a little more care around cleanliness, this villa could really shine.

VERY BAD HOSPITALITY! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, INCLUDING MY CONNECTIONS! THE RECEPTIONIST WAS ESPECIALLY AWFUL AND HAD A VERY BAD ATTITUDE! I’LL NEVER COME BACK. PLEASE EVALUATE YOUR RECEPTIONIST!

The location worked well, close to Jimbaran beach and some good restaurants, and the breakfast box was okay: fresh salad, a yoghurt stick, and a sandwich with a few cuts of papaya. Staff were friendly, but didn’t speak English at all. We could communicate in Indonesian, so that wasn’t an issue for us. They only partly dealt with the noise, and the room had no soundproofing. We could hear kids yelling in the pool and hallway. Cleanliness was below average too, with hair in the sink when we arrived. The sea view was blocked by trees, so there was basically no view. One tip: don’t book the cheapest room type, as it may be beside the shared area with a kitchen, table, chairs, and sofa. As another reviewer said, you get what you pay for. We won’t return and would rather spend a little more for better accommodation.

The staff were hospitable and nice, though the management could improve cleanliness standards, maintenance, and emergency response. For this price, it was a fair stay. You get what you pay for.
