There are several pools set among lush tropical gardens, which gave the resort a calm, private feel. The rooms were spacious and elegant, with classic wooden details and comfortable beds. I also loved the excellent breakfast buffet, with plenty of local and international dishes, and found the staff genuinely friendly and attentive. InterContinental Bali Resort has a beachfront location with lovely sunset views and easy access to Jimbaran’s famous seafood restaurants. It combines modern luxury with traditional Balinese charm, making it a peaceful seaside choice for couples and families.

The Club InterContinental lounge is what made the stay for me. It had butler service, garment pressing, a good cocktail list, and gourmet small plates. The live piano in the afternoon gave it a really upscale feel. I wouldn’t stay here without club access. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen, with a huge range and great quality. The spa was excellent, and I highly recommend the three-hour Balinese treatment in the seafront villa. The floral bath at the end was a highlight. The gym, though, was surprisingly small. This is a massive, classic Balinese resort and one of the island’s best values. Service really is five-star, though the older rooms have some climate issues. I visited in the wet season and the standard room felt very humid, with a noticeable moldy, musty smell. The staff responded quickly and moved me right away. Club Rooms are much better maintained and worth the upgrade if you want to avoid that damp feeling in the older wings.

The staff made us feel welcome straight away, and everything about our stay felt easy and relaxed. We came home feeling refreshed, and we’re already talking about returning. We loved our time at the Intercontinental in Bali, and it’s definitely a memorable trip for us.

Meals were another treat, from fresh seafood at Jimbaran Bay to international dishes at the resort restaurants. The breakfast buffet had a particularly good range of local and international choices. From arrival, the welcome and Balinese hospitality set a relaxing tone. InterContinental Bali Resort in Jimbaran felt like a little piece of paradise, with luxury, culture, and natural beauty all together. A lovely place to unwind and make lasting memories. 🌴✨
