Raffles Bali Hotel

The hotel is a bit far from lively places like Canggu and Semniyak, but that suited a luxury stay for exploring the area. We had a very good time. The hospitality was warm and the service stood out. Food was excellent, though the choices were limited, and the team kindly customised dishes to our requests. Pick-up and drop-off in the BMX iX came with very polished chauffeurs.

We came as a couple for three days, with no kids, and had a superb break. The spa was brilliant, and we went twice. I also got plenty of work done: the room desk, facilities, and internet were all fine, though mobile reception is weak in some parts of the resort. The butler service was helpful without being intrusive, both around the resort and with restaurant bookings and other arrangements. The team even helped with small requests, like having my favourite tropical fruit each day and setting up a very amateur tennis match. I really enjoyed talking with the head Chef and hotel GM about the history of Raffles Bali. It’s a fascinating story about the people and their love for the area. I hope they’ll eventually have a historian like Raffles Singapore to share it. Thanks to the whole team, you should be proud of the standard you deliver, even for a top-tier resort like Raffles.

The food was a highlight for me: fresh ingredients, plenty of variety, and lovely presentation. The cliffside dining experience felt especially magical. The villa was spotless and beautifully designed, with plenty of privacy and comfort. I loved having a private pool and outdoor space to relax in Bali’s quiet. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by lush nature, with peaceful surroundings and breathtaking ocean views. An unforgettable stay from start to finish. Highly recommended.

The main pool and beach restaurant are both worth spending time at, so do get out of the villa. Gaetan and his team also did a great job with the food and drinks. The produce tasted fresh, and every meal was consistently good. Sila, our butler, was exceptional, always anticipating what we might need and making the stay better. Service felt natural and never forced. Everything flowed smoothly from arrival, and the private villas are beautifully designed with incredible views. You can tell a lot of thought went into the setup and the details. Luxury done right. We’ll be back.
