The staff were friendly and helpful, and Medina Guest House Syariah is right in the center of Kandangan, with tourist spots and local food easy to reach. It could be cleaner and tidier, though. The photos and videos can speak for themselves. 🙏🙏🙏 For someone like me visiting from out of town, it’s a comfortable, affordable option. The listed price is around 300,000 Rupiah, while RedDoorz can be about 170,000-210,000 Rupiah. An extra bed costs 100,000 Rupiah. There’s Wi-Fi in public areas, a meeting room, concierge service, and a 24-hour front desk. If you’re after budget accommodation in a central location, this is a good choice.

At 480 when booked directly on the spot, this was very disappointing. The place is in the city center, and fixing things inside could make it good, but it looks like an old, poorly maintained building from the front. The entrance atmosphere is dim, and the corridor near the rooms is dark and short on lights. The room wasn't clean, and the lobby was dirty and dusty. The toilet and sink leaked, the taps were crusty and broken, and the shower was broken too. The AC couldn't be adjusted, the TV was broken, and its remote didn't work. The welcome water in the room was dirty, and there were no toothbrush or toothpaste amenities in the bathroom.

It's near the city center, so I can walk out to get snacks easily.
