I stayed for five days. I picked this place because it was the only one with rooms available for my dates. I was late booking another hotel within my budget of under 600,000 rupiah. I also chose it because it’s a 5-10 minute walk from Museum Angkut, and I assumed there’d be restaurants nearby. There weren’t any. The outside looks nice enough, but the room was in really bad shape and seemed unmaintained. The sheets looked very dirty. I hope they’re changed whenever a guest checks out. The toilet floor, trash bin, and toilet were also extremely dirty. I paid around 300,000 rupiah and don’t know whether that condition is normal for that price. Breakfast was brought to each room around 6:30 every morning, with loud knocks on the door. There was no choice, just fried rice with a sunny-side-up egg and very sweet tea, then mixed rice the next day. They only clean the room if you ask and hand over the key. Be careful with the water supply. Around 4 a.m. one day, my son had a stomach problem and needed the toilet, but there was no water to flush until 7 a.m. They’d run out and had to wait for a water truck to refill it.

The price was cheap, but the place was really dirty, especially the sheets. The floor felt sticky, like it doesn’t get mopped often. There are pros and cons to staying here. I think the service could be improved, and the sheets need to be cleaned.

Just steps from Musium angkut, and the room was spacious. There’s no sound isolation, though, so voices from other rooms carry and echo through. They serve boxed breakfast, either nasi campur or nasi Goreng, with hot tea.

The location, service, and staff were all great. The room was average, not too old and neither especially dirty nor especially clean, but that’s what you pay for.

Access to the Transportation Museum (Musium Angkut) is good. The room was a little noisy, the facilities are old, and there’s no air conditioning, doorbell, or peephole.
