Allura Azana Resort Tawangmangu

We booked the New Year’s Eve dinner for nine, but the place set aside for us had only room for six and just a low coffee table. When we asked for a proper dining table, the staff quickly called the manager, but that didn’t fix anything. He seemed surprised there were nine of us, which made me wonder whether anyone had checked the booking. Then he asked us to wait half an hour for a table change. Such a terrible experience.

Getting there was easy, and free parking was available. The restaurant has a nice view, and the little indoor pool is there too, though the water was really cold. Our room was neat and clean, the food was good, and the staff were very friendly. They also had the basics like a toothbrush, soap, and shampoo.

Breakfast had a good range of tasty options. Our room was spacious for two adults, and the AC and water heater were both available and working properly. The internet was fast enough.

I was a little disappointed that a last-minute change meant staying at another hotel, so I didn’t get to spend the night here or try breakfast. I did get to hang out at the café with my teammates, though, and it was pretty relaxed. The snacks were good, and the modern decor was cool. You can see they put a lot of effort into the design. The rooms looked cozy and nicely laid out. Maybe I’ll get to stay next time 👌🏻
