We stayed in one of the villa-like rooms, which worked really well for a family vacation. We were allowed to have a proper family BBQ there, and local sellers often came by to offer their goods. It wasn’t disturbing; it was nice to meet them directly. The hotel is well placed for exploring Tawangmangu, and I loved the ambience, service, and especially the security staff. Breakfast was great too.

The scenery was great, the room service stood out, and breakfast was good. It’s a cottage-style hotel where you rent a whole house, and the room and stay were surprisingly nice. I worried at first about having no air conditioner, but in the Mt. Lawu valley the temperature was pleasantly warm. The hotel was under renovation while I was there, so a few things might seem a bit odd, but it was still a great place.

It may look old, but everything was very clean and the facilities were well maintained. The rooms were spacious, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast was free for all hotel guests. A nice place for families.

I used the place for a mission of the ring that can hold more than 40 people. There’s spacious parking, the pool is good, and the view is good too. No AC, but it gets cold from the evening. The food was so-so.
