I booked online, but when I arrived to check in, it had already become a boarding house. How am I supposed to complain? Please provide information.

They reportedly stopped partnering with OYO, yet they still show up in apps and search engines. The Sharia label feels paradoxical, and this makes me think they’re scamming the public. The rooms smell of cigarettes even though they’re said to be ready for guests. Cleanliness and service seem neglected, and they still refuse to make improvements. Not recommended.

The room had mosquitoes, no TV or AC, a bathroom door that wouldn’t shut, a stuck water tap, and a bucket that looked like it had never been cleaned. I hope anyone thinking of staying here will reconsider. Sorry to the hotel and app, I’m writing this as criticism so things can improve. I forgot to take a photo of the hotel. My wife and I were in Karawang for an event and wanted somewhere cheap for just a few hours, since we expected to check out at 6:00 AM. It was already almost 11:00 at night when we started looking. At the hotel, the concierge said OYO was no longer partnered with them, though I can’t say whether that was true. The hotel wouldn’t take guests who had booked through OYO, saying OYO hadn’t paid them for a year. They told me to cancel in the app, but I tried several times and it didn’t work. With it getting late, I booked a room and paid cash, 170,000 Rupiah, if I remember correctly. I think this review is objective because the experience was very bad, especially dealing with OYO, which was uncooperative about communication. Hotel managers and app providers, please avoid miscommunication that causes problems for customers trying to stay overnight.
