Gayo Belangi Resort

The place itself is lovely, but the restaurant service was painfully slow even though it wasn't busy. Our seafood fried rice came in two separate deliveries: the first serving was cold, and the second arrived half an hour later as the wrong dish. I ate it anyway because I was hungry and it was already so late. It tasted okay. The Bang Moer's special noodles were cold too, and pretty bland, with no real salty, sweet, or spicy taste. The cream and cookies drink didn't have any cream flavor. The sweet and sour shrimp was delicious and we enjoyed it, but the waiter brought white rice we hadn't ordered. When I pointed that out, he scowled. Then, just as we were leaving, I asked the cashier whether the pineapple and orange juices were ready for takeaway. He said they were out of reach!! Earlier, when ordering, I'd asked what was out of stock and he told me he'd let me know later. I figured I'd get the answer before leaving. Honestly, what a joke. I hope they can improve so visitors aren't disappointed. They should add staff during major holidays and national holidays to keep service up. Thank you!

For a relaxing break away from the city, the Superior Rooms at Gayo Belangi Resort are a great fit. They're clean and comfortable, and the cool highland air and peaceful natural views make it easy to unwind. 🌿🏞️✨

Clean, tidy, and comfortable place, but the music was really annoying. It felt like being at a wedding reception, with people singing so loudly that you had to shout just to have a conversation.

The restaurant is open even if you're not staying overnight, and the food is all the best. The service is friendly too 😊 The place is comfortable and works well for a vacation with family or friends, especially if you're after a lake view with mountains all around.
