It’s a modest amusement park in Kebumen. There aren’t many attractions, but it’s still okay. You can see exotic fish and small sea creatures in the aquarium area, rent a bungalow, or take the kids to the little water park and play area.

The aquarium was my favorite part, with pretty, interesting fish in medium-sized tanks, vintage things inside, and cool air from the AC. Just don’t touch the tanks for safety. There’s also a zoo, water activities, and outbond, though everything is on a limited footprint. Food is local, including soto and pecel, plus snacks, with a restaurant and drink corner where you can sit down. Kampung Etnik is affordable, and Ticket 1 covers several stops. Tickets 2 and 3 include more places and activities. The grounds aren’t very large, and some areas are still being built, so watch out for materials lying around. When it gets really busy, people could easily brush past each other. It’s also not very clear how to get between areas, and most spots didn’t have staff when I went. They seem to still be figuring out the best setup. More trash cans would help keep things tidy. Still, it’s a humble, fun place to visit.
My wife and I stayed here twice, paying around IDR 200,000 per night. On our first visit, before the Covid-19 outbreak, we had a spacious, clean hut with a comfortable double bed, strong AC, very good free WiFi, and a private bathroom with good hot shower water. Room amenities were provided, and our room service food and drinks were delivered to us. We also got free access to the outdoor fish therapy pond, aquarium, and memorabilia house. The main drawback was that WiFi stopped at midnight. There were mosquitoes at night too, but staff left us Baygon spray, which helped. It’s a popular family park in Pejagoan District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province. Attractions include a sky ride, swimming pool, boat rides on a small lake, mini zoo, kids’ rides, 24-hour outdoor fish therapy pond, large aquarium, statues, and a house of memorabilia. Colorful, oddly shaped glamping huts around the lake make a lovely photo backdrop, especially after dark. The food shop stays open late, particularly on weekends.
Really great, lurr 😎
The bungalow room was really good, and they gave us fresh towels. One thing, though: the last time I stayed, the shower wasn’t working, so please check it.
