Set in a lush jungle garden with the beach right out front, the bungalows are beautiful and every detail feels lovingly done. The Reef surf spot is just a 2-minute walk away. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making this our best stay on Java. Thanks to everyone at Villa Monyet. We really hope to come back!

We loved our time here and extended our booking. The location is amazing, and the people are so nice and friendly. They helped us with everything and shared great information about the culture and things to do besides surfing. Definitely recommend!

This is a small cabin-style hotel near a beach that's popular with surfers. The bathrooms are partly outdoors, though they seemed fairly clean, and we were glad to have a mosquito net in the room. Breakfast was very basic. A road runs between the resort and the beach, so passing motorcycles could be noisy.
