Raffles Jakarta Hotel

The room was comfortable and in good shape, but I didn’t enjoy my stay overall. This is just my personal preference. I found the food less impressive than at other Jakarta hotels like Pullman, Mulia or Hyatt. My biggest problem was the service, especially at the FRONT DESK. Staff weren’t very accommodating. When they couldn’t meet a request, they didn’t try to help or even reassure us. Better communication and a little effort would’ve made a difference. We had confirmed several rooms and other services days ahead. At many hotels, they try to have rooms ready early, or at least around 2 PM, even when official check-in is 3 PM. That added value didn’t happen here. With so much competition among Jakarta hotels, I think that kind of extra effort matters. The location also isn’t very convenient, and traffic nearby can be heavy.

The ballroom was spacious and impressive, a great fit for our company event with a large number of participants. Everything ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations. The staff were professional, helpful, and easy to work with throughout, especially Ikram, who gave us excellent support. The food was outstanding too, from snacks to the buffet, with lots of delicious choices. We’d be glad to host future events at Raffles Jakarta and recommend it as a venue.

I also hosted a three-day event here, and it was handled very well from start to finish. The facilities and service were excellent, and Arts Café had superb food with a wide choice of snacks throughout the event. I especially liked the special beverages beyond the usual coffee and tea. Mbak Chelsia and Mas Reza at Arts Café were warm and attentive, and made our dining experience more memorable. Raffles Jakarta was very clean and elegant, with beautiful, sophisticated design and a luxurious but comfortable feel. It really delivered a five-star experience. Being connected to the mall was practical too. Highly recommended for a luxury stay or event in Jakarta.

Every room is a suite, so there’s plenty of space and it’s comfortable. The amenities are good too. I enjoyed the outdoor tennis court and the gym, which has a pretty wide selection of weights. I’m selective about massages because the setting matters a lot to whether I can relax. The spa is beautiful and immediately put me at ease, and my masseuse was excellent. Service was good and met what I’d expect from a high-end hotel brand. Compared with some other places I’ve stayed in Indonesia, where service can be exceptionally proactive, this felt a bit more traditional and not quite as one step ahead. Still, it’s a fancy hotel with fantastic amenities.
