Meotel Kebumen

The room was quiet and spacious, with a big bed, and there’s even a corner for kids. The staff were helpful, cheerful, and great to deal with. Food was simple but tasty, and the hotel is close to the city center. Amenities were complete, though some furniture looks worn, and the Wi-Fi is limited, even if it still works for video calls. A few tucked-away corners need more cleaning, since they make the hotel seem old.

Clean, good hotel. Too bad they don't have any water stations.

It's easy to find, right on the main road in the city center. The parking area is huge, the lobby is tidy, and the staff are friendly. My room was reasonably clean and in decent shape; the TV and AC both worked well, and the water heater was fine. They also supplied basic toiletries like soap and a toothbrush. The restaurant was okay, with a few especially tasty dishes. There isn't a minimarket very close, but there is an ATM nearby. Kebumen gets pretty quiet at night, so road noise didn't bother me while I slept.

The retro interior gives you plenty of places to take photos, and the parking area is spacious. We did find that a music concert sometimes made the parking area inaccessible. The place feels cozy and the staff are friendly. Breakfast could use a better menu.
