Grand Surya Hotel Kediri

The hotel is right in the middle of town, so getting around Kediri and finding what you need is easy. I spent two days and one night there with my family. Check-in was quick, and we were welcomed with a tasty drink. Our large, clean twin room had a great city view, and the bathroom was good with a nice set of travel amenities. There was plenty of basement parking, probably enough for 15 cars or more. The facilities include free WiFi, a kids' pool and a large pool. The gym had a good range of machines, though they were old and rusty. Breakfast was decent, with choices from local dishes to sushi, but overall it was mediocre. The rooms and facilities were good, and the price felt a little high, even if you do get a lot for it. It's a good four-star hotel for work or a vacation. I'd book here again if I get the chance and recommend it to people staying in Kediri. If they address what it's lacking, it could definitely be a five-star hotel.

I couldn't find a room-service menu in my room, so I had to call reception and ask them to bring one. More breakfast choices and room-service options would be welcome. I stayed two nights at Grand Surya Hotel Kediri. It's one of the town's luxury hotels, with an international standard feel. The room was good, the facilities were decent and the food was good too. There are two pools, one for children with a small playground and one for adults. If you want a hotel in Kediri with full facilities, this is a good one to try. It's hard to find a good hotel here. The building and the room's smell both felt old during my two-day stay. I've stayed here every time I've visited Kediri, but this time left me disappointed. The AC wasn't cold enough, and when we complained, they sent someone to repair it instead of moving us to another room. The price isn't cheap for the quality. I hope Surya Hotel Group can fix these problems. They haven't kept the service at the same level it had when the hotel first opened.

The rooms are nice, and this is my usual signature hotel when I visit Kediri. My one complaint is that the breakfast buffet seems to get worse each year.
