Harny's Garden Villa

Harny's Garden & Villa has a lovely garden, nice scenery, and a swimming pool, with a safe, friendly feel for kids. It's outside central Semarang, but a great option if you're after a comfortable villa with a welcoming atmosphere. Come enjoy it for yourself.

We had a really pleasing stay at Harny's and booked it for our company's annual meeting. The staff were helpful and informative from the start, and both the rooms and the view were nice. We could even pick fruit and vegetables from the garden. One of the rooms is quite new but has no power outlet, which made charging phones or other gadgets difficult for the people staying there. Hopefully an outlet can be added next time. We'd love to come back soon :)

The place was clean, the bed smelled good, and the pool water was clear and pristine, with no chemicals added. The biggest room fits four and costs IDR 1 million per night, or it's IDR 7 million a night for 14 people. The breakfast needs a lot of work, though, and the playing field by the basketball area gets muddy after rain. Some netting around it might help.

There's a good ambience and full facilities, with plenty of fruit trees and vegetables, and you can take some fruit or vegetables for free. The toilets weren't as clean as hotel bathrooms, though. The villa is far from a supermarket, so bring enough food and anything else you might need. We stayed for two days and one night.
