The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and we could use the shared kitchen to make our own food. You stay in the same house as the hosts, but they give you privacy and space, while being happy to chat too. They can also arrange motorbike rental. The hosts at Dekaka Homestay are so warm and helpful. When we ran into a small emergency on a day trip to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, they went out of their way to help us sort it out. We felt very welcome and at home. Thanks, Dekaka!

We stayed in Yani and Munthe's home and shared some lovely moments with them. They're generous and so kind. We wished we could have stayed longer, and we definitely want to come back.

It felt just like home. The room was clean, and the host was lovely and very friendly. The homestay is on the main road, so public transport is easy to catch. Just wait out front.
