2/10
Hot water came through with good pressure, which isn't something I take for granted in hotels in Indonesia. The rest of the room was awful, though. There was only a mattress on the floor, and the place was filthy: mold on the bathroom, blankets and pillows, cigarette holes in the blankets, yellow marks and cobwebs everywhere. The walls were marked too, and the floor looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in decades. I can't even describe how dirty it was.

The staff were friendly and sociable, and I had a pleasant enough night here. Rooms downstairs have fans, while the second-floor rooms have air conditioning. There's a small TV, but no private bathroom. No breakfast or restaurant either, though plenty of warungs and toko are nearby. They were still renovating when I stayed.

Upstairs, the air-conditioned rooms are like regular guesthouse rooms, and some have a small open lounge area. Downstairs there's a non-AC family unit with two bedrooms, a sofa and TV in the living room, a pantry, and a shower and toilet.
