The calm pool and quiet setting worked really well for a solo stay, and the spacious suite was comfortable. Canggu and Seminyak are both nearby, though the villa itself feels tucked away. I found the place spotless and cozy, with friendly staff who checked that I was comfortable. There was generally someone at reception in the daytime and a guard at night, which helped me feel safe. A few small things could be improved: I had nowhere to put toiletries in the shower, and the bathroom bin lid needed fixing. A little gap by the main glass door let some mosquitoes in at night, which seems common in Bali. They brought mosquito spray as soon as I asked, and I appreciated that. I’d happily return and recommend it.

I slept soundly the whole time, and the peaceful, well-kept property made it easy to relax. The rooms at 20 Suites Umalas are modern, clean, and have the essentials. The staff were so warm and welcoming that I felt at home. I loved staying here and would recommend it.

The place matched the listing photos and description, and daily housekeeping was included. Our Airbnb hosts were quick to respond and proactive when we needed anything during our 4 days and 3 nights in Bali. We liked how quiet the location was, a little away from the crowds and good for resting, while still close to popular spots. The garage seemed big enough for a couple of motorcycles and two cars, if I understood correctly. One thing to consider: the stairs to the upstairs rooms are quite steep, so they may not suit older guests or children. You could ask about a room downstairs.

The place had a lovely European feel in its architecture, and there were great restaurants nearby. Finns and Atlas at Berawa Beach were each about an 8-minute drive away. It felt like a home away from home, with excellent staff and impeccable cleanliness. I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay.
