Bali Karma Sajtra Hotel

I spent over a week at Karma Sajtra and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is close to Petitengat and Seminyak beaches, which is a big plus. The rooms were spotless and well maintained, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals that made eating in a pleasure. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to welcome me. I highly recommend this place for a Bali visit!

As a woman travelling solo, I felt extremely safe here, thanks in part to the amazing staff. The location is excellent, just off the main street of petitinget, and the resort is brilliant value. I'd definitely recommend it. Can't wait to come back soon!

I had a very quiet stay, and there was room to lay out my suitcase. The desk was handy for using my laptop. The room was quite dark, though, with very little lighting. The pool wasn't completely clean, so I didn't feel like swimming. The laundry service was the worst part. I weighed my clothes myself before handing them over, and they were exactly 1 kilogram. When I went to collect them, staff said they weighed 2 kilos. I objected and used a scale there to show they were 1 kilo, but they still weren't convinced. They said the clothes had become heavier from sweat, even though I weighed them before handing them over. A whole kilo of sweat makes no sense. They showed me a photo of a scale reading 2 kilos, but not a picture showing what was on the scale. It could have been anything, even a 2-kilogram block of iron, not my clothes. At 30000Rp/1kg, it adds up, but the bigger issue was feeling cheated, rather than the money itself. If you use the laundry service, I recommend checking the weight in front of the staff first.

The room was large, with a comfortable bed, a little couch, and a balcony overlooking the cafe area. It's set well back from the main road, so it was very quiet. Restaurants and bars are easy to reach on foot.
