Blue Karma Village

The outdoor shower area had a stone bathtub, and our room was very clean and came with all the amenities. During our stay, we could join Jamu classes, yoga, and Pilates at no extra charge. Staff welcomed us warmly and took great care of us throughout. It’s my first time staying at Blue Karma Village in Umalas with friends, and I’m having a great time. The place feels like a serene jungle retreat, with private wooden villas and facilities including four swimming pools, a spa, yoga studio, gym, and Japanese restaurant, Hiiragi Restaurant. Blue Karma is a Bali accommodation brand with locations in Seminyak, Umalas, and Ubud. Breakfast is à la carte. You can pick two dishes from the menu, plus a basket of bread baked fresh each day. There are lots of photo spots for anyone who enjoys making content and being in nature. I’ll definitely visit their other locations and stay again. I was satisfied with the food from breakfast through lunch and dinner, and we also took a Jamu class and drank jamu every morning. The place is so peaceful and clean, with thoughtful interiors. The view is fantastic when you’re doing yoga, Pilates, spa, or even working out at the gym. Every corner makes a nice photo spot. It was my first stay at Blue Karma, and I can’t wait to return and try another resort. We spent two nights here with my bestie and really enjoyed the zen staycation. I’d recommend it, especially if you’re looking for serenity and wellness. The location, price, service, and hospitality went beyond what I expected. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves delicious Japanese cuisine, and the breakfast offers generous portions with plenty of choice. There’s also a spa with lots of treatments and a small gym. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, and housekeeping came twice a day. We slept on the softest bed linens. Blue Karma Village is tucked away in a very quiet area of Umalas, with a serene atmosphere, lots of vegetation, and fabulous pools. The teams at reception, the restaurant, the spa, housekeeping, and the gardens were all so sweet, always smiling and attentive. Hands down, the best boutique hotel we’ve stayed at in Asia. A true gem.

We stayed only one night, but this first visit to Blue Karma won’t be our last. When we return to Denpasar, we’ll definitely come back. Every staff member was welcoming, genuinely friendly, and made us feel at home. Huge thanks to the wonderful masseuses for their magical touch. We used a complimentary 30-minute foot massage or facial after checkout, and both my husband and I were so relaxed that we fell asleep. He chose the foot massage and I had the facial. The breakfast was à la carte. There wasn’t a huge menu, but every item looked delicious. On arrival, we got a refreshing coconut drink and snacks while waiting for our room, plus a scratch card, and I won a lovely bracelet. The hotel is tucked away from the busy streets and feels like a peaceful sanctuary. When you enter, you see one serene swimming pool, and there are actually four in total. Our room was incredibly spacious, with a beautifully crafted high ceiling we couldn’t stop admiring. There was an outdoor bathtub among lush greenery, a dreamy setup, though we didn’t get the chance to use it.
