The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to get around Seminyak. It’s about 15 minutes by bike to Canggu via Batu Belig Street or Umalas, and they can help arrange a scooter rental. I liked the quiet Train room a lot, while Navy and Explorer were always noisy with their doors open. Even with 22 bunks, there was enough room, and the bed was really comfy, with a nice smelling blanket and a privacy curtain. It stayed cold with both aircons running, maybe too cold for some, but I liked it. You get two lockers, one roomy one under the bed and a smaller one. Breakfast was okay and filling, and there’s free drinking water in the communal area. The bathrooms were cleaned several times a day and never ran out of soap, shampoo, or toilet paper. They said they’d change my towel daily, but they missed it on my second day. It wasn’t a problem since I was only there two nights. I loved everything else. I didn’t try the pool because it’s small and only 90 cm deep, though it looked clean.

dgobers hostel works whether you want to unwind or meet people, and it’s easy to get to know others there. The rooms are big, the AC is nice, and the wooden boxes give you good privacy. The toilets were more or less clean. A very good stay, recommended.

There are some thoughtful ideas here, but the details could be better. The restaurant is nice, though there’s no free drinking water. In the shower stalls you get shampoo and bath soap, but they smell moldy and seem like they haven’t been touched in ages, even though the hostel was newly built in 2019. The shower stalls also have hooks for clothes and towels, but the toilet stalls and other bathroom areas could use hooks too. Each room has a curtained dressing area, something I hadn’t seen in a hostel before, but its black curtain attracts lots of mosquitoes. Free WiFi is offered, which is good, but some rooms get no signal. Even where it works, it keeps logging you out and makes you manually sign in twice each time.

We stayed a few days and really liked it. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and there are cafes and shops close by. The people there were so friendly. There are USB outlets by the beds, so you don’t need to worry about bringing a universal adapter. I’d recommend this place to others.
