Gelatik B&B - Hostel

The people I met in the shared room made this almost two-week stay such a fun experience. I made friends from different countries, each with their own backgrounds and stories. The place looks just like the photos, and my room stayed nice and cool with the AC running 24/7. I loved the blue pool and the beanbags for sunbathing. There’s a communal kitchen and fridge for cooking, a water dispenser for refills, hot water in the shower, free WiFi, and a washing machine. It’s a 10-minute walk to Batu Belig beach, between Canggu and Seminyak. The hotel also partners with Grab, so I got a 4k discount voucher on each fare when I went out. I booked through Tiket.com, and it was all very affordable. Budi, Ayu, Adi, and Agung were especially friendly and helpful, and made my stay memorable. Sorry if I’ve missed anyone, I wish I knew all their names. I’d recommend this place to my friends and to you.

This was my first stay at Gelatik, and I’ll be back. For 15 days, I didn’t see anything bad about the place. The staff were fantastic, kind, and helpful, and everything had a homely feel. The room was great value for money, and the swimming pool was great too. Ayu and Badu made a lovely breakfast. I kept asking them to make what became my favorite smoothie bowl, thanks so much! The third-floor view is spectacular. There’s daily housekeeping, and you can change your towels whenever you like. The washing machine is free, just bring your own detergent. The one possible issue if you’re working is the WiFi, which wasn’t stable enough for me. A cheap data plan can help. Thanks for the great experience. I’ll keep coming back.

I spent a week at Gelatik Bed and Breakfast Hotel and had a 10/10 stay. The rates were budget-friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the location was handy, close to attractions and convenient for travelers. Azka and Joiya at reception were polite, friendly, and gave excellent service that made me feel at home. The whole staff were welcoming and respectful. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Bali.

For what it costs, this hotel is phenomenal. The three of us shared a huge family room for one night, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. The blankets smelled so good they put me straight to sleep. I’m picky about shower pressure, and the water was very hot and powerful throughout, even after my two friends had showered. We were on the ground floor beside the pool, but the room was still quiet. There’s a free kitchen on the second floor and a free washing machine. The neighborhood is nice, set back from the main road so people aren’t constantly asking you to buy things. We could easily walk to lots of good places to eat and shop. The girl at the front desk was kind and helpful when we checked in.
