Natajiwa Villa

Sorai Restoran was good, and the staff there were great. The neighborhood is peaceful, with just a few cottages in the village, and you can have the pool to yourselves. I did notice a few stains and some mold on the curtains, couch and bedsheets.

There are only around 10 huts, so it stays peaceful and the pool never felt crowded. Some nearby bars have live music on a few evenings, but it's usually over by 11pm and didn't bother us. Our rooms were clean and looked just like the pictures, and this was some of the best value we've had in a long time. A few things for the hosts to consider: checking whether pool guests want a drink, offering a welcome drink if check-in is delayed, and replacing the somewhat worn, torn bedsheets. The room cleaning was good, though some cups and rubbish were left behind. Those little things didn't spoil our stay. We had a great time and would recommend it 10/10.

Our time in Bali was magical apart from the three days at this villa. It looked scenic, but the staff support fell short. As soon as we reached the airport to fly home, we realized we'd left a painting from the local market in the room. We called straight away and asked them to keep it safe so we could arrange a courier. They said they hadn't found it. I can't say what happened to it, but I'm certain it was in the room. When we tried to talk it through, they ignored us. It was very upsetting to be treated that way over a painting. We met kind, helpful and honest people throughout Bali, and this villa was the one exception. I also tried to find the owner's contact details. If the owner sees this, please share your view. The room was a bit dusty and not clean. The bathroom was dirty too, with sand and dirt around and an unclean toilet bowl. They didn't provide mineral water, so I had to pay 100k rupiah to buy some.
