There are lots of places nearby working with wood, and the noise starts early, with chainsaws running at 6 in the morning. The internet also stopped working for a couple of days. On moving into my room, I found garbage everywhere, faeces and urine still visible in the toilet, toothpaste in the sink, and stains throughout. I complained and was moved to a clean room, but I’d already paid 200k for electricity in the old room. Staff promised to transfer it to the new room, but despite many calls and confronting them, it never happened. The housekeeper stayed in the old, dirty room and used the electricity I’d paid for. When I tried to talk to him, he hid in his room, ignored my calls, and didn’t reply to messages.

The owner seems to care only about money, while maintenance is apparently outside his concern. You may have to pay to get things fixed yourself. Even after asking several times, if he does send someone, you could wait a few days, with no promised arrival time. Good luck.

They had already approved my booking through Oyo, but when I arrived they said the place was full and that they weren't responsible for refunding me. The staff were really unfriendly and didn't seem to care that I was left wandering around. No apology, either. They should close the place instead of leaving the next person stranded like this.

I booked two nights through Traveloka and was ready to check in, but the staff told me there were no rooms left. When I asked for help getting my money back, Mala responded rudely. The hotel staff were unfriendly throughout.
