The pool gave us the feeling of having our own beach club, and Mum and I felt safe and relaxed away from the crowded tourist spots. Our week at Pennylane was the best decision of our girls’ trip to Bali. The rooms were spacious and immaculately styled, each with its own bathroom. The beds were so comfortable that we definitely slept in more than we’d admit. After six trips to Bali, this was easily the cleanest, most homely and stylish villa we’ve stayed in. We have no complaints and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Big thanks to Alex and his team for making the holiday such a dream. You’re close to the main strip, shops, a laundromat, supermarket and restaurants, plus a pharmacy and currency exchange. But the villa is far enough away to avoid traffic and loud noise. It’s down a narrow lane, which wasn’t an issue for us: it was well lit at night, and the walk to the main road took about a minute. Service was fantastic. The staff were super friendly, and both check-in and check-out were easy.

We had an amazing week at Pennylane Villa, and we’ll be back! I’d recommend it to first-time visitors to Seminyak and people returning to Bali who want easy access to shops, places to eat and a laundromat. The villa was exceptionally clean and tidy. The manager and staff were attentive and friendly, and owners Tony & Glenda were so helpful and keen to please. Nothing seemed like a problem. Ling Ling restaurant & bar offered great value, as did York for breakfast. They’d thought of useful touches, including fresh bottled water for brushing your teeth and a fruit basket when we arrived. Pennylane is definitely on my return list.

Tony was a fantastic host and even arranged transport whenever we needed it. We were close to restaurants, with dining and shopping only a short walk away. After visiting Bali several times, I found Pennylane Villa outstanding. It’s a relaxing place to unwind after a full day of activities, and I’d recommend it. I’ll certainly stay there again.

Glenda made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable, offering local recommendations and extra room amenities when needed. Her warm manner and genuine care made the stay memorable. Wayan also stood out for the care he put into cooking our daily breakfast. It was always satisfying and set us up for the day. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a private pool amid lush tropical gardens. The villa was beautifully decorated, with spacious rooms and modern amenities. It’s in a quiet area but still close to Seminyak’s restaurants, shops and other activity, so it was easy to explore. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to help with requests. Our stay at Penny Lane Villa was fantastic, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing stay in Bali. I can’t wait to return.

The hosts were easy to reach and helpful whenever we needed something, and the villa was clean, organised and had what we needed. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked really well, which isn’t always the case in Bali. We’ve visited a few times and stayed in different areas, but this was the best one. Everything is nearby, including a great restaurant within walking distance or a short scooter ride. We’d definitely stay again, 10/10, no complaints.
