Villa M2 Seminyak

The villa was clean, and the staff were friendly, but the dine-in meal was a big disappointment. We tried it because of how it was promoted, even though it was very expensive. The chef they sent was a local woman dressed in chef's clothes, and the whole grill meal was cooked in 45 minutes. There was a plate of fried local appetizers, stale grilled fish fillets, about 10 small pieces of squid that were poorly grilled and tasteless, and 10-20 medium prawns, though it was supposed to be skewers of king prawns. There were about 10 small, thin beef slices, too raw for my taste, plus some bland chicken breasts that hadn't been grilled long enough. Without the rice, it wouldn't have been enough food. Everything came out at once instead of in courses, so it was cold halfway through the meal. We got only plain water, no other drinks. The price was like paying for the best buffet in Bali, but the meal wasn't worth even a quarter of what we paid.

Wayan and the girls were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. This is one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. A suggestion, not a complaint: a larger fridge in the shared living area would be useful.

The villa was clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated, and its location is really convenient. Good restaurants, the beach, shops, and massage parlours are all within a 10-minute walk. Ferra and the team were exceptional. They had a cot, baby pan, bathtub, and bath toys ready for our baby boy. Ferra also shared great places to visit and arranged excellent transport for our day trips. Thanks for making our family trip so memorable.

A brand-new villa with a great crew. The location really matters in Bali, where traffic jams are everywhere. From here, you can avoid them all because you're right among the best beach clubs, shops, and restaurants.
