We had a relaxing, enjoyable five nights at this high-end luxury villa with our family of 11, celebrating birthdays across four generations. Everyone could spend time swimming or relaxing in the many indoor and outdoor areas. The villa manager and staff were friendly and accommodating, and nothing seemed to be a problem. It’s close to transport and restaurants are walkable, or you can leave meals to the talented staff, who can cook up a storm. We’d love to return and highly recommend it.

The staff were the best, so generous with their time and attention. We didn’t use the chef service, since there were so many good restaurants around, and a quick motorbike ride gets you to most of them. The location wasn’t ideal, but we found our way around, though traffic toward the Semiyak area can be insane. The villa is wonderful, but it does show its age, around 25 years. Also, the master bed is far too high. I’m 172 cm and struggled to climb onto it.

Villa Avalon is near the Canggu area and could suit a Bali vacation if you want a quiet atmosphere away from club noise, with a fresh, natural feel. It offers villas with 1, 5 or 7 bedrooms, each with a private pool, as well as entertainment facilities for your holiday.
