The villa had a lot going for it, though at this price I can't say it felt like the best value. There was plenty of space for our two families, and even when another family came over for lunch and dinner we never felt crowded. The chef was fantastic, and I highly recommend booking her. The staff were generally very friendly. The main downside was the setting. Nearby beach bars and people drinking along the road made it very hard to sleep. The bar music was loud too, though fortunately it stopped around midnight. Construction in the neighborhood was another issue. Workers at a building across the road spent time watching us swim and lounge, which wasn't relaxing. The villa seems to have been a showstopper in its day, but wear and tear is now easy to see. The rooms are large, though the outdoor bathrooms meant mosquitoes kept getting into the bedrooms. Staff did their best by spraying at night. In three of the four rooms, the water pressure and hot water were lacking.

The villa was much bigger than we'd pictured, which was great with our large group, and just as gorgeous as the photos. Each room had its own character and a huge bathroom. The management were accommodating, and the staff were attentive and friendly about everything. We had an amazing two nights here. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back.

The staff really made the stay easy and enjoyable, and the location was perfect for getting around. We were surprised by how spacious the villa was, and it seemed to have everything we needed. The chef cooked for us at the villa, and the food was delicious with very generous portions. I'd give the rooms four stars only because they could use modern power options, like USB and more outlets by the beds.

The traffic noise was the one drawback, but otherwise we enjoyed the hospitality and had a great stay at Villa Kavya. The staff were very helpful, the indoor space was clean and modern, and the garden and pool were lovely. There was also plenty of room outdoors for kids to play.

The team were always smiling, friendly, and helpful, and I'd recommend this place to friends. It's ideally located near the beach and lots of good restaurants. The villa itself is the most beautiful one I've stayed in in Bali, with a lovely pool and huge outdoor area. Everything was spotless and in great shape. I'll definitely return.
