Casa Residence Bali

There's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, plus a pharmacy, laundry, and booze. The location is good, though it gets pretty loud during the day, and the room I stayed in smelled quite bad.

The room was comfortable and well equipped, with lovely design and a spacious bathroom with all the amenities. The fridge was cold, the AC was brand new, and the kitchen was clean. Staff were on hand if needed, and having YouTube Premium and Netflix was great for a quiet evening. The paid massage chair was a nice extra too. There’s Alfamart, street food, laundry, and a wine shop nearby, though the wine shop was closed during my visit. Parking felt safe since it was shared with the 24-hour Alfamart. Casa Residence really is as beautiful as the marketing photos, and the price felt justified. I was skeptical at first, but the place met my expectations. The entrance is a little small, so ask the laundry staff for help if needed. It's in an Alfamart building and easy to find, in a very convenient, strategic area. I'd suggest asking for a room with a window, since being in a room with no natural light feels strange. Great for a short stay. I'll definitely come back, it was so comfortable and had everything I needed.

Music started at 7am, with drums, singing, and microphones, so sleeping in the morning was impossible. Keep that in mind if you like a lie-in. Apart from that, it was cheap, clean, modern, and quiet, with friendly service. My room had no window, but I only slept there, so I didn't mind not having an outside view.

The good parts were the fresh renovation, very clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, free coffee, and laundry. There are also lots of handy amenities and eateries nearby. But it was very, very noisy. Casa residence is on a busy road with lots of traffic noise, piped music playing on repeat all day and night, noise from the nearby school early in the morning, then loud singing downstairs until late. The kitchen wasn't stocked well as advertised: there were no cooking utensils, and the frypan didn't work with the induction cooktop. I asked for a replacement pan and utensils, but the request was ignored. WiFi was reliable, but having to log in constantly was annoying. Maybe there's a way around that, but I'm not very tech savvy.
