The kitchen floor was filthy, with food spills, cigarette butts, and dirt. There was no drinking water, and the pool was so murky and dirty that you couldn’t see the bottom. Every bathroom had mould and limescale, the toilets hadn’t been cleaned, there was a sewage smell, and the bedding had stains and hairs. At arrival there was nobody at the front desk, if that’s what you’d call it, and we hadn’t been told how to enter. I walked around asking random men on the street which villa it was and how to get in, since no one answered the contact number. We told staff we weren’t comfortable staying because of the cleanliness and lack of drinkable water, and asked for a refund. The property stopped answering our calls and messages, even when we went by the desk. Apparently everyone had left, so they didn’t have to deal with it. They’re now refusing to refund nearly $1000 AUD, although we couldn’t stay there for health and safety reasons. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
