Villa Canggu by Plataran

The hotel has a personal, boutique feel rather than that of a big impersonal place, and it’s comfortable and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A neighbor’s rooster caused a small issue during our stay, outside the hotel’s control, but the hotel handled it beautifully. They offered complimentary massages and even a room upgrade, which was thoughtful. Traffic makes the area a bit busy, and getting to Canggu or Seminyak takes some time. Still, it’s a perfectly fine place to stay if you want somewhere comfortable a little away from the main tourist chaos. We had a great experience and would happily return.

For us, this is easily one of the best villas we’ve stayed in, and it’s worth the price. The place is spacious and fantastic, with a private area that feels exclusive. The natural atmosphere reminded us of Ubud. It’s hard to believe such a peaceful, beautiful complex is right in busy Kerobokan. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I can’t think of anything to complain about. We’ll be back soon, and this will be our top choice from now on.

The atmosphere at Plataran Canggu is lovely, with a cozy design and a comfortable spot to unwind or get some work done. The space seemed clean and well maintained overall. I did spot a few insects here and there, though it wasn’t a major issue. A more detailed pest-control routine and checks in the corners might make the place feel even more polished. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily come back.

The place itself is really beautiful, the staff were lovely, and the food was delicious. But our villa needs some fixes to the floors, windows, and bathroom. The private pool urgently needed cleaning too. It was so dirty we couldn’t see the bottom.
