Tia and Okta deserve a special mention for being so kind and attentive while we were there. The staff as a whole went above and beyond and made us feel at home. Ayatara Resort Ubud caught me by surprise in the best way, even after staying at five star resorts around the world. It’s secluded and serene, great if you want to disconnect and recharge. The rooms are stunning, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. My friend and I will absolutely return. Highly recommended!

We spent nearly two weeks at Ayatara for our first trip as a married couple, staying in a private pool villa. We loved spending most of our time at the resort, and can’t think of a single thing we’d fault. The natural setting is beautiful, the service was the best we’ve ever had, and the place is ideal for getting away from a busy, stressful life. Our room was spotless, and much larger and nicer than the photos made it seem, which is usually not how it goes with hotels. The food was exceptional, with a menu we were still exploring after ten days. We tried the massage and yoga and loved both so much that returning to European standards will be tough. And the cocktails rank among the best we’ve had in London, Zurich, Paris, Copenhagen, New York, Chicago, and other cities known for world class mixologists. Best holiday of our lives. Ayatara Resort also seems brand new, with beautiful design and careful upkeep. Its spot in the jungle brings a rare kind of peace and serenity, perfect for switching off and reconnecting with the outdoors. Above all, the staff made us feel welcome, relaxed, and cared for. Usman and Tua were consistently attentive and warm, and Oman deserves a special mention as quite simply the best waiter in Bali. His professionalism, kindness, and eye for detail made every meal memorable. Ayatara is a peaceful sanctuary with exceptional service. We can’t wait to come back.
