The mezzanine studios are a delight, with air conditioning, a water cooler, storage, a fridge, a kitchenette, and a bar counter. There’s a smart little dipping pool and greenery out front, and it’s easy to reach Sanur, Denpasar, and Abiansemal. The landlord is very friendly, and there are only four neighbors.

Made, the manager, is a legend and will do what he can to make your stay good. These little one-bedroom villas have a mezzanine bedroom and kitchenette, and I loved the place. For the price, I’ll 100% go back. It’s central for getting around this side of Bali, and worth visiting if you want to see a style of Bali like 20 years ago in Seminyak and Changu. Go to Sanur, it’s beautiful and you don’t have people yelling “bike” at you every 20 seconds while you’re sitting on a bike with a helmet on. Lol, I love it all.

The area is quiet, and the shared pool and cleaning twice a week were nice to have. It’s a small apartment that suits one person or a couple. Parking is a bit tight and couldn’t fit more cars, so I used a scooter to get around. The kitchen could use a few more tools, but I had a good stay.

We stayed in a private villa for two months, my wife and I, and it felt like home. It was cozy, comfortable, and peaceful, and all the staff were really friendly. The location was handy, close to the main road and opposite a traditional market, with beautiful black sands nearby. The host was attentive and dealt with any problems quickly. We enjoyed our stay so much. One of the best places in Bali. Thank you to the host and his family for their hospitality! 🙏🏼
