We were right by Mount Batur, which made this a great spot for an early climb with the guides who work at Alam Bali Lake View. The view over the lake and volcanoes was incredible, and it was lovely to talk with local people. Mowgli’s place was a great experience. He did everything he could to make us comfortable, and everyone was so nice to us. Thanks for having us, we’ll remember this stay for a long time!

The hospitality was lovely, and I really liked their ginger tea. Our room was clean, the view was nice, and the service was perfect. There's a trail for sunrise or sunset, but bring good shoes because it can be a bit slippery.

Alam Bali lake view is a scam! The photos look amazing, but they’re stolen from Batur Cliff Panorama guest house farther up the hill. We were really disappointed when we arrived. The rooms and views looked nothing like the Google photos, and the Agoda description is wrong too. Akam Bali lake view has small beds and no sofa.

The owner of the villa treated us like family, which was the most memorable part of our stay. The view from the villa was amazing: we could see Mt. Batur, Mt. Abang, and Mt. Agung all at once. A 10-minute trek from there brought us to beautiful rice field scenery. I stayed here with friends and loved it.

They treated us like kings, even making us a fire and going to get food for us. We had a good chat with them and arranged a Batur trip together, which turned out really well. The room was very comfy and the people were nice. We had a really good night here, and I recommend it.
