This was my second time at Tegal Sari Cabin, and I really enjoyed it. The host family were warm, welcoming, helpful, and easy to reach. They brought a welcome drink and served a wholesome, delicious breakfast. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, with hot water and Wi-Fi. The pictures are accurate, and the view of Mt. Batur, Mt. Agung, and the lake is stunning enough to spend all day enjoying from the room. There’s a fairly steep path and steps downhill to reach the room. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place to stay. They can arrange a Mt. Batur trek and jeep tour, which I took and enjoyed. Restaurants and shops are reachable by Grab bikes and cars. I look forward to coming back.

After arriving soaked and freezing from riding my moto through a torrential downpour, I was met by the owners with an umbrella and a lot of kindness. They walked me to my room, where a very hot shower was waiting. The room was clean, and the view from it was spectacular. Great value for what you get, and I can only recommend the place and its owners.

The view was breathtaking, and we wished we could have stayed longer. Getting to the cabins takes effort, though: there are lots of stairs and a small street leading up to them. Once there, we found the people welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. The room was the best we had in Bali, with great equipment, very soft sheets and pillows, and a bathroom that felt almost luxurious compared with other hotels we stayed at. They brought a tasty breakfast to our room. We had an incredible stay.

The way up is a bit steep, but the view is amazing. The rooms are really clean and have balconies. Highly recommended!

The room had a stunning view, and it was very quiet there. Breakfast was 10/10: fruit, pancakes, coffee, and fried bananas. The people working there were so kind and welcoming. I’d read that there was no hot water, but that isn’t true. It just takes a few extra minutes to come through. One thing to know, there are about three small steps down to the cabin. It’s not difficult, but we’d thought it was right on the street.
